Great job. These are lovely. I especially like the first one and the colours in it. Then again, the lilacs and greens in the second one are brilliant too :) Talent obviously runs in the family.
What a colourful backyard! I'm finding it hard to look past all the (falling now...sadly) autumn leaves at the moment too and love the colours. I like it against the blue sky as well.

Yep, the colours are wonderful. I like the depth of field in the top one, with the front leaf in focus (using the rule of thirds too :)
