Artificial Light - Helen

I was running a bit late with my assignment. I took these outside as we were letting off some fireworks. I have also been a bit slack with comments. I have loved everyones photos, but each time I tried to comment, 'something' happened and it would not publish my thoughts!!!

I love the first one - the patterns from the light are great! I also like the composition. I like the last one too, but dont know what it is!

These worked really well! I tried some with fireworks the other night (aren't long exposures fun!) but the fireworks were just clouded with smoke. Are the top two from sparklers?

They are great! I love the blue, orange & red in the last one. the top one looks like it is a grass plant lit with a light/ on fire - it is great.

These all look so artistic! The first looks like a womans hair blowing in the wind. The second looks like a spider. I love the last one especially.

Thanks guys!! The first two are just regular crackers, not sparklers and all I did was set the exposure to 1 second and I held the camera in my hand - did not have a tripod. I dont even know what the last one is - it was just there when I came inside to look at what I had taken!! Sorry I am not any help :)
