The girls esp like the ghost piano picture :-)

I really like the creativity of the washing machine picture. Hinckley was worried about your camera when I told her you put it in the machine to get the shot.

The clarity in the "sky + eye" picture is great - I would have maybe cropped the right hand side a sliver more. There is a bluish tinge on the corner of your eye?

PS your lashes are to die for!

The first two are great. are you trying to say you should practice more? you are like a ghost at the piano because you spend your time doing washing? :)
In the piano one I like that you wore a light skirt because that gives a more ghost like effect (especially with the seat). Did you try with a lighter top too? If you could find a grand piano and really doll yourself up in concert gear that would be great. But I know you don't have a grand so... nevermind. But imagine if you could do a shot like that on a big stage. Like a haunted concert hall.
The washing machine photo is a great idea for a self portrait. Parts of the photo are a bit washed out i think (the window and the light it puts on your face). I like the graininess of the photo though, I think it suits what the picture is about not to have too refined a finish.
The last one is great. Is it the sky? It looks like it. And it obviously picks up the blue of your eyes really nicely. I do like it with the red of your lips as well but it could be fun to play around with cropping a bit and try and make it more dramatic with just the eye and the blue? When I clicked on it big it actually only showed a cropped part in my screen (because I had to move the window over) and it looked really cool.
I think I am going to try doing some kind of multiplicity thing, and it'd be cool to see you do something like that too? Maybe washing, ironing and folding :) Nice for you to post early but keep posting if you come up with other things too.

Wow, great photos! I love the piano one, great perspective in the washing machine, and of course you look absolutely beautiful in the last one! Very well done!

You should also try the piano one in sepia, as I think it would give it more of an authentic old and ghosty look! :)

How did you manage to get such a good shot of your face while holding the camera?? (I know cropping has something to do with it, but still, that's awesome detail!) Did you use the timer for the other photos?... wonder if my camera has a timer... otherwise this topic is going to be quite challenging!!! :)

Love them all...but especially the last one. It looks perfect to me. My attention goes straight to your brilliant blue eye and gorgeous lashes!

Thanks everyone!

Lol @ Johanna – just about right, the piano one was like – "I used to play the piano…and wish I played more" and the washing one is "this is what I do all week!" I did try the piano one with a white top, but I didn't like it. Micheal & I were saying it would be good if I had an old fashioned dress...maybe I should go to an op-shop! I would LOVE to do this with a grand piano...ahhh, in my dreams. I think sepia would work well too, Mel.

The last one was just taken in my bathroom, and I changed the colour of the wall in photoshop, using a cool filter. (my eye colour has been enhanced too...shhh:) But I wanted the attention to go to the eye (like it did for Bindi :) – so I made it more bold & dramatic. It was hard to get the focus spot on my eye, so it took a few times holding my arm out, trying to get the camera in the right position!

I used the timer & tripod for the piano shot, a remote for the washing machine one & just me holding the camera for the last one. I hope you have a timer on your camera Mel! You will be restricted with what you can do if you have no timer…but can still be creative even if you don't.

I posted early in the week since we're heading to Cairns next week, so I wont have time to do any more :( I really want to do more multiplicity photos too :)
