Well everyone, this was a hard one, and the last two weeks have really flown by! I had some great ideas (like some dance shots), but just no time to do anything with them, so this is just some mucking around from yesterday.
I'm such a sucker for photoshop! I love it so much! I have been slowly teaching myself how to use it, and now am starting to use it to build a few websites for our businesses :) Love being able to do art on the computer! I was a little arty in high school, but since I was good with computers, I thought about being a graphic designer (much quicker than drawing and painting!), would you believe (go figure how I got a psych degree!). Still may in the future :)
Bindi (if you have photoshop) and anyone else who is interested:
The first photo uses the following effect - Filter (Menu) -> Brush Strokes -> Sumi-e (and then you muck around with the various options.
The soft twilight feel comes from - Filter -> Distort -> Diffuse Glow and again playing with the options.
For the blue eyes I used Image -> Adjustments -> Photo Filter, and played with the options
Hey Mel, these are cool. I like your makeup in the 2nd one! :) The soft feel to that photo works nicely.
The one where you are lying down could use less (or different)editing - there is no contrast between your face & neck & chest, so when I first looked at it, your face looked big and out of proportion...(I know its really not though :)
I really like the cool filter that you used on the eyes - looks great!

You take great pictures. I am getting a very 'Twilight' feel from them. The effects are so good. I need to learn how to do these.

And the last Filter -> Artistic -> Poster edges.
