I love the flower photo that Emma layered with Mel's texture photo, and I thought it would be awesome to know how to add layers in photoshop. Mel is awesome with photoshop and she taught me how step by step using this photo I took of Kasha's hubby and baby. Thanks Mel for teaching me, and thank you Emma for the idea of adding texture into a non-textured photo. :)

This is such a sweet photo!! The texture gives it a real vintage feel.
I usually like more subtle textures, especially on portraits, but this works quite well. Maybe it needs to be a touch lighter though(I'm not sure if the texture has made the photo darker than what it originally was?)
But this is such a gorgeous Daddy, Daughter photo - definitely one to frame!
yeah, you might be right about lightening it up a bit more emma - we had played around with the brightness and contrast but only briefly. Such a great photo Kalista, and definately another framer!!
