Johanna:
I'm getting in on this insect/flower thing.
I took this at Floriade and was thinking of Bindi's dragonfly photo at the time (I still love that photo!)

Haha, I was taking photos of all the bees in our garden today!! I might see what other photos I can come up with before I post mine (I'm thinking I should choose a different season to capture...maybe winter!:)

I like this - the petals are like a bowl, and the bee is cute & fuzzy.

A bit of sharpening & maybe more contrast would make it pop a bit more.

There is something about taking photos of bugs isn't there? I took so many over summer and they are some of my favourite pictures.

I love how the flower is cupping the bee like a bowl too.

Oh so lovely! This is a beautiful photo Johanna. I enjoy taking pictures of flowers even without bees, but when there is some kind of insect with the flower I get so excited! A lot of times though the insect moves and is out of focus. This one is nice and sharp and I love it.

I love the wavy effects of the white petals and the touches of yellow on the outside of the bottom petal. The bee is so clear. I love way you have captured his furry body and I think I can see spots of pollen on him.
