I didn't get any of the photos that I was planning for this topic...so instead I went with #1 since it played a big part this week with Adele's Birthday :)
Happy Birthday Del! I think using the number of a birthday is a great idea for the theme. I kind of want to do the theme again to see what else you were thinking of, but maybe you can just tell me :) The top photo is really sweet. I like how you get the corner of her photo in the cake rather than just the cake and candle because it tells more of a story. The second photo is cute. I love the blue and the yellow in contrast and that the wind slants the grass and the balloon to the right. And that her head is turning that way too. It feels very directional.
I can't believe Adele is already one! The number one works perfect for this topic and the photos are great! I think Johanna did a great job explaining what she likes about the photo of Adele with the yellow balloon, and i completely agree with her. :)

...and I agree with Johanna and Kalista...that bottom picture is lovely.
