I really like the top one too - although I would have straightened it in your Photoshop (A trick I only learnt a couple of months back - Draw line with the Measure Tool on a straight edge in the picture, Rotate, Arbitary - this will straighten the photo to make the line you drew horizontal, then crop photo as desired) http://creativetechs.com/tipsblog/fast-way-to-straighten-a-photo-in-photoshop/

I like the top one too. I think the people are positioned really well in the photo and I love all the nuances in the shades of green. And the smaller square shapes in the concrete. Great spotting for a photo. I don't know anything about photoshop, but I agree that it would look better straightened a little too. Would make it more amazing.
I think your spotting of triangles is good. I was boring with obvious circles which seem to be easier to find. This is a good idea, I love the bird sitting on top too. Maybe if this was taken on a very overcast day it would have made for a better back drop to the blacks and grays of the subject?

I really love the green squares and the smaller concrete squares in between. The different shades of green are lovely. I like the triangles too.

The squares are fantastic! I actually dont mind it being a bit crooked...it sort of tilts towards the people & the direction they are walking. I love it!
