Wow! My Nanna used to always give us "double yolker" eggs....but I haven't seen them since I was little. Weird....i just googled it - check out what wiki has to say half way down the page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egg_yolk
I guess they would be twins, but the unborn chickens usually fight each other inside the egg & die! (according to wiki ;))
Dont know how true it is, but when Johns mum used to buy us 'double yokers', she told me it was the first egg that a chicken laid when they start laying?!! (dont quote me though) Anyway, I like the colour in your photo and the detail!! (too much actually ;)) I like eggs once they are cooked, but a bit grossed out in the raw state - hehe.

I love the colour of egg yolks. Cool picture with the twin yolks next to each other. Almost like a biology class teaching about cells dividing...
