Very nice Johanna! You came up with some super creative ideas and you did a wonderful job of composing the shots! My favorite is the spools of thread in different shades of blue. Beautiful! I also like the shot of a blue Charlie, how did you do that one?
Yes, I have been doing a lot of sewing in blue lately (not on purpose, but it was handy for this photo!). Charlie and I have been playing "under the sea" under our bed covers a lot during the easter break. We take my phone torch under with us so we can spot the different sea creatures and it has a blue light function (so it looks blue like the sea). So that's Charlie in the deep blue sea! most of you will have seen that quilt shot already. And I actually won those blue japanese tapes on a blog giveaway a couple of weeks ago! very exciting.
I really like the cotton spools too. The one of Charlie looks like a fun time. I was going to say, I saw tape like those top ones in Japan, and I just read your comment :)
Hey Beth, if you like collections/groups. Check out this site. They have some great photos (recently I really like the bread tags): http://collectionaday2010.blogspot.com/

My favourite is the spools of thread too. I think you should frame it for when you have a sewing room one day...
I'll add my praise to those that have already been posted. Excellent ideas and well carried out.

I love the thread photograph as well. I love repetition like that in photography. I love having things in groups/cataloging things.
