Beautiful star trails. I've never tried since having my DSLR, and never had much success with film, either. Love that you have the southern axis off center. Did you plan that?
This is something I have always wanted to do. I love it. I love the silhouette of the tree too. It adds such an interesting feature to the photo. Beautiful!!!

Jayde - I left the shutter open for 33 minutes. Would love to do a longer one too.
B - I took one just before this & the southern axis wasn't in it, so I recomposed the next shot so it was in the photo....didn't really know if it would be off centre though, so it was just luck with how it turned out!

This is such an amazing photo! Looks like the tree is drawn in the same direction as the stars.
I didn't realise stars were different colours!
Cool - I have had real issue trying to do night exposures like this. Jayde asked how long it took to take the photo?
