I thought I would post some from a few months ago. My favourite time to photograph landscapes is at sunset, when there are LOTS of clouds around. I like to wait til the sun has gone below the horizon, because the colours are amazing then! How I usually shoot at this time of night is exposing for the sky, so the land/mountains are silhouettes. Or underexpose the whole image by a stop or two. This way the colours will be deep & vibrant.
These 3 shots were all taken on the same night; the more orange one was shot towards where the sun had set, then the next taken further south from where the sun was etc.

The sunset photos with the clouds have such amazing colour. They look almost 3D or painted or something. Particularly the middle one.
The top one is nice too, with the low cloud and symmetrical trees. VERY green!
