Starting to get a busy time of year, so hopefully a simple topic for the next fortnight - Sky. Make of that what you will - cloud formations, sunsets, rain and storms, stars, pillars of light above the brightness of the noonday sun which descend gradually until they fell upon you ... :)
If you want to try for any "Blue Hour" night photos, here's either a reminder or a new link to the The Blue Hour Site, extolling the virtues and providing tools about light at dawn and dusk. The Blue Hour site.
The following articles all had a couple of tips that I hadn't thought of re sky photography , so have included them:

Oh and a heads up for the following topic. It looks like we are going to get our "Fashion Shoot". On the last week of November, it looks like we are going to have the Young Women of Tuggeranong Ward available as "models" for a fashion shoot and/or portrait shots for their weekly activity. We just need to let them know where/when etc so that they can plan things in. They normally have YW on Wed night 7-8:30, but could change if needed. Who in Canberra would like to take part in practicing some shots on live subjects, and does the Wed night work for you?
