Isn't texture fun?!

The 2nd picture reminds me of an elephants skin, it's wood though right?

I like the second pic too. Great texture.

Yeah, I had to wonder about the second one too for a minute!!! Great great photos, as always! My fave is definately the hessian!! I am assuming you laid it out - it has really nice character because of the way it is sitting, as well as texture. Very bright and airy, I like it a lot!

Great photos Emma, the hessian is my favorite as well. I really like how the edges of the photo are soft and the photo has a soft feel, but the at the same time the texture is coarse.

These photos all work really well together. I like that you have kept to a natural/neutral colour. The detail in the tree stump is fabulous. And I like the composition of the cauliflower. With the first one I like that you have folded the fabric because I think it adds a depth to the texture than if it were just one flat piece. It makes it look more inviting and cosy somehow.

I like all these photos too. It is funny you say the second one looks like elephant skin Holly, I can see an elephants head in the hessian one. I love the lines/cracks/shadows and the yellow flecks in the second one. Nice :)

The way you have photographed the hessian makes it look really soft! Possibly because of the monochrome pale colours, and the fuzzy fibers. I really love it.

The wood feels a little bit over exposed or too contrasty for me... but obviously good sun = good texture detail.

Love the white cauli... but I would like either alot of empty white space around it, or for it to be a bit tighter (closer) in the cropping
