Please comment on other peoples suggestions - and if the majority is in favour of the proposed change, we can include it.
Likewise, if the majority is happy with how things are running at the moment, we can keep it the same!

I enjoy how it is working just like it is. It is easy to join in for a topic or not if you don't have the time or energy. I love seeing everyone's interpretation of the different themes too.

I really like how things are now too, I'm having so much fun with this and am grateful to you for putting this blog together. I can't think of any suggestions right now, but If I do I will let you know. :) I too enjoy the different themes and think it is cool how we each take turns picking them. Thank you again Emma!
I enjoy the different themes too. I wonder how others feel about doing the topics on a weekly basis? I sometimes think the fortnight drags a bit towards the end of the second week. If people cant get their photos taken or posted in the week, it would be OK to post late. This is just a suggestion, but I am happy with whatever everyone else wants :)
Yeah, I think if we did it weekly, we should each come up with a topic before hand - so we can see what is coming up next. That way, if we know are going to be busy, or away one week we can take photos for that future topic. Does that make sense??
Does anyone think we should have a maximum number of photos you can post per topic?
I think up to 3-4 pictures would be decent amount?
Yeah, if there were a maximum number of photos, it is easier to critique them, - not that I know what I am doing or that I am able to give constructive feed back :) (if you know what I mean??) I agree Holly, 3-4 is a good number. But I also think that if you have really good photos and you cant decide which are the best, this should not be a hard and fast rule and should feel free to post more.
It all sounds good. Weekly is great for me...I am always ready for the new topic by the end of the first week. (Must be my short attention span!) Being able to see ahead of time what the topics are would be really helpful for those weeks when there isn't enough time to get out with a camera. Also, I am happy to stick by a maximum of 4 photos per topic. Sorry if I have been posting too many previously!! Bindi xo
Bindi~definetly not posting too many! Was just thinking that if we're going to set a number maybe that would be a good ball park figure? I agree though Helen that if we're undecided more is good :-)

PS could we change the blog template to a wider format?
I'm up for weekly topics too. We'll see what other peoples thoughts are on that.
I like the idea of having a maximum...It means we have to post our best photos. We'll decide on a number once others have given input.

I just made the template wider...but I might play around with it later...looks weird to me at the moment! Any tips? Was this so you can post larger photos?
With the template suggestion I was just wondering if it would compliment pictures better. Also if it's wide template you can load your pictures onto photo bucket first then onto the blog and they appear larger. It has some to do with html too? I don't get html - maybe you do emma? Here is where I saw the info anyway xx

No, definitely not too many Bindi - it's like being on a holiday looking at your photos :) I think being able to see ahead to the up coming topics is a good thing too.
I have trouble even getting time to come on once a week - so having 2 weeks is better for me (but I'd be OK if every one wanted topics each week - I'd probably just miss some like I have been!)
I think it is a good skill to have to be able to pick your best photo - so the fewer photos posted probably the better (I do know that it is very hard to be objective with your own photos & choosing just 1... I think I am terrible at it!)
PS - I would like to have a shot at B&W photography (as it has been so long since I have done it). Can that be my suggested topic for the next round? There are lots of things to think about when taking a photo in B&W (have a read about the zone system, if you have not done it before).
I guess it is a bit different these days (as opposed to when I started photography) being able to change the photo very easily from colour to B&W - but I thought it would be a good one to do anyway, as some photos look better in B&W, others better in colour.
was wondering if we could consider adding a name lable at the end of each post in the little lable box?
