reflections-kash

My brother in law is an amazing photographer, and he helped me take these photos. He let me use his external flash and tripod, and then we set everything up in my kitchen. It was really neat to see the different shapes and reflections the water makes when the tiny little drop hits the glass bowl. I had so much fun with this, and I learned so much about using flash and getting the correct exposure. The most difficult thing for me was timing everything just right to get the drop in the frame. Anyway, reflections are definitely something neat to play with and I am so glad we did this assignment!

Holy cow, I wish Chandler was my brother in law! Hehe, he really is an amazing photographer and I'm always awed but how much he knows about photography. It was fun to talk to you today and with his help learn about some of the functions on my camera. I wish I was there to learn how to take pictures like these! They are incredible! I've never taken anything like them before. They are beautiful and I love them. It is hard to pick a favorite as each one is so unique. Please tell Chandler how impressed I am with him. :)

These are awesome! It's so fun taking photos like this. It is great that you were able to learn new things doing this too. I have never used an external flash before, but would love to learn.

I really like the backgrounds you have used too. I love the last drop in mid air, and the ripples in the water. So cool to look at!

Wow!! These are beautiful. I bet it was fun taking these too. I cant choose a favourite either, but the drops in mid air are all cool. I also like the second last one where you can see the drip underwater too. I also like the reflection in the drips of the first, second and fourth photos. (these could have also fitted the movement/motion topic) Very nice!
