I love the way you have captured the shoe - the focus on the logo is great. I love the tangle of the laces too and the wear on the side of the shoe. I also love the wall, I love the grotty look to it - your photos have depicted the topic well!
Really good range of tones in both photos. I like light coming from the side to light the shoe. I also really like the square format for the portrait, and the position of the elements in the photo - curb & people!

The close up crop on the nike logo is really effective - good composition. I love how the shoe is old & worn - it really suits the B&W.
