I was thinking that a windmill would be a great B&W shot!! I saw one out near mugga way, but didn't have my camera with me! This would be really awesome if the sky was stormy too. (hehe, I like the Macca's sign :)
This is a fabulous photo. I think it might be my favourite photo of yours to date. Love everything about it. What a brilliant idea. It definitely works well in black and white.

I like the composition - how you have come in tightly to the windmill. A rustic windmill definitely suits B&W.
