The Washington Monument
Either there aren't very many pretty sunsets here in Maryland, or else I just don't spend much time outside anymore! We went into downtown Washington D.C. though a few days ago and I took a few evening shots of the monuments and memorials. They are a bit grainy because I didn't have my tripod so I turned the ISO up high. Anyway, it's nice to do a post again. With missing Australia I went on a photo strike for a while and rarely pulled my camera out of the closet. I hope everyone is doing well. :)

I think these are great. The grain doesn't bother me at all, but I think it adds to the mood of the shots - very ominous. I love the huge clouds & the colour of the sky - great photos!
