Texture - Bindi

Cool plant that we have in one of our window boxes. It just makes you want to run your hand over it whenever you walk by it.

This is a great plant for this topic! I'd even like it cropped in close too, so you just see green. I have been looking at so many different trees & plants for this topic, but none are this cool!

I love the colour of the plant and I agree, just looking at it now makes me feel like running my hand over it. You can almost feel it in the photo. Nice texture!

this looks like such a beautiful and unique plant! I also agree that it looks so tempting to run my hands through it! You did a great job showing the texture in your photograph, I'm very impressed!

Great photo! I would also do as Emma said and crop it about halfway down - looks good in "widesgreen" :)

Cool photo. I looked at this widescreen like mel suggested and it does look even better because you get more detail (spikiness) in the leaves. I quite like the composition. I still get the feeling of endlessness because it's cropped at the sides and because it disappears over a hill at the back. I quite like the arched shape at the top and if you closed in then you might loose that.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I like it closeup but I really like the dome shape of it too. To me that is part of the urge to rub your hand over it - the spikiness of the rounded shape.

Yep I agree to leave the rounded horizon of the plants (I feel like it is a mini world/planet) and I love it. With the background - just maybe leave out the bar at the top right.. crop in a bit?
