Lines - Helen

The cup has lines on it & when it was sitting on the table with the sun shining through it, it kind of made a good pattern.

Lines

I'm so sorry this post is late! I took these photos before I left on a trip to Montana with my husband and some of his co-workers. I was told there would be internet connection at the ranch we were staying at but unfortunately the internet was down the whole time. I couldn't decide if I should just forget about this assignment and start on the next one, or if I should go ahead and post it. I figured that I could delete it after I have it up for a day or so, and then all of the Nature shots would still be in order. Let me know what would work best and again, I am so sorry for being late!

Bindi - extra line picture...

I just wanted to add the photo of the tunnel without the flash, given that the other one was well liked!

This is my favourite. The lines aren't the main focus, but they still draw you into the silhouettes of the Simon, Kiki and the kids.

This is such a great topic. I have never seen so many lines that I can photograph.

Lines - Bindi

These photos are from our weekend away with my parents and Kiki in Salzburg. I was teased all weekend for taking photos of 'lines' everywhere we went! I have added where the lines were pictured in case you are interested...

Above is where 'Do Re Me' was filmed in Mirabell Schloss Gardens (Gnome Garden)

Tunnel getting to Eagles' Nest (Hitlers 50th birthday present). I used a flash with this one but the ones without the flash look better. I couldn't capture the lines without the flash effectively.

Burg Hohenwerfen

Mirabell Schloss Gardens

Chapel where Maria was married (The Sound of Music)
Click on this first one, I think this one looks best bigger.
(it reminds me of the tapestry in the great hall at parliament house)

I cropped a lot in this post. Any thoughts on cropping photos? Cheating? Good? When to do it and when not to etc?
