nature- kash

Here are my nature shots! This topic was so much fun! Can't wait for the next one!

More nature

Saturday morning with all the fog, I noticed a spiderweb from the kitchen window. So I went back to the original one I had seen a few weeks ago and it was there covered in dew! Found a few others too, so here are a couple of photos.

I know, these aren't very original and people have already posted bird and leaf shots. I planned on going out today to look for something unique but I forgot until it was already dark. Anyway, this has also been a fun topic, and there have been so many amazing pictures posted!

Nature - Mel

Hi Ladies! Some great photos on here already!!! I ventured out with my camera this morning and was surprised at how many beautiful things and colours I could find, especially when I got down low and small! I don't take enough time to appreciate the art Heavenly Father has created in the world, so this is probably good for me! :) xx

here is another one from me too!! It fits in with nature & lines :) It's not an overly exciting photo, but I think it looks kind of cool...

Nature - Bindi (one more!)

Update 15/7/09 - just took this one and it is a better bumblebee pic than the one below taken the day before. Bumblebee obsession seems to have kicked in.

Big fat bumblebee. They are so furry looking it is tempting to pat them.

Nature - Bindi

We went looking for 'nature' things to photograph today and found some great bugs. Very hard to to get a picture of. I have 100 blurry pictures because everything moved too much!

This dragonfly looked spectacular in the sunlight. The pinpricks of light on the wings are just the sparkles made by the sun. I would have liked a bit more time but he was off as quickly as he landed.

moon shine :)

I lOVE the moon - whether it is a bright beautiful full moon, or a delicate crescent, it just amazes me. Tuesday the moon was full, so I jumped at the opportunity to take photos of it. I walked up the mountain, froze my hands off for over half an hour, and came home with NO good photos :( I did some research to find out how to photograph the moon. I realised that its better to take photos when it isn’t full, because the shadow will create more contrast & detail (makes sense now!). I went out a few days later & got this shot! I was pretty happy with my second attempt. I love challenging myself each fortnight & learning more & more. I enjoyed this topic.

(I dont know if you can click the photo to view it bigger...but if you can, there is some cool detail in the moon. Sometimes blogger wont let me see photos bigger when I click...??)
