More Texture: Johanna

(I just wanted to share these photos I got from a walk around the rocks I took when we were at Apollo Bay. We went just as this topic was ending and so it was on my mind.)

I wasn't sure which one to post of these next two. Any thoughts? Do you like it closer up?

Thanks Em for kicking my bottom into gear to do this! I did not manually expose the images - so I don't feel that the exposure is quite right, but here are a few photos that I took the other day.

I love the flower photo that Emma layered with Mel's texture photo, and I thought it would be awesome to know how to add layers in photoshop. Mel is awesome with photoshop and she taught me how step by step using this photo I took of Kasha's hubby and baby. Thanks Mel for teaching me, and thank you Emma for the idea of adding texture into a non-textured photo. :)

Hey everyone!

I feel like I have been out of it for SO long! Been very busy with one thing and another, and finally have built Christophe a website for his new (which just means more focussed hehe) business. Cool plant that we have in one of our window boxes. It just makes you want to run your hand over it whenever you walk by it.

New Topic: Texture!

In browsing through my pictures this avocado shot was the only thing I found to give an example of texture. I have never really tried to capture texture in my photos, and I have never specifically looked for subjects with cool texture before, so I thought this could be a fun topic. I hope you enjoy and I look forward to seeing your posts! :)
